The Ray Hart Band was established in 2017 by vocalist & guitarist - Rynhardt Crous and bass guitarist & harmony - Pieter Bester.

After 18 years in the industry as solo performers these two dynamic artist decided to join forces to create one of the best country/rock brands within South Africa namely The Ray Hart Band. The idea of the name comes from lead vocalist Rynhardt who took certain parts of his own name and infused it with a more country sound.

Bass guitarist Pieter Bester is the former bassist of the band Bad Apple based in Cape Town, South Africa. He started playing at a very young age.

Lead vocalist Rynhardt Crous had a long career as solo artist and with two albums within the Afrikaans market he decided to turn to his passion country music.
